Millennium Joinery LTD was formed at the end of 1999, just before the turn of the new millennium. Hence the name. Michael, the company director, has been a joiner all his working life. He started in the trade when he was 16 years old, arriving to a job his father had got him on a Monday morning after being told the Friday before his school days were over. Michael didn’t even know what a joiner was however it didn’t take long before he realized that it was a great industry and trade to be in, with so much variety. In those days custom joinery was made bespoke to each clients need, an aspect he has decided to continue on at Millennium Joinery. Michael managed to talk his own children into learning the different aspects of the trade, allowing a new chapter to begin. As the next generation start to take over, Millennium Joinery has become a family business which brings opportunities not only for the company but also for our valued customers.  

At Millennium Joinery we pride ourselves on being craftsmen in all aspects of joinery - wooden windows and doors, straight flights to curved stairs, kitchens, vanities, bars, hotel fit outs, school projects, wineries and much more. The company even got commissioned to build the replacement dome on top of the Oamaru Hospital using only an old photograph to guide our work. This taught us there is no job too big or too small for our team.
